If no special instructions are added during the delivery details screen of the order process, as the customer you are agreeing to sign for the delivery. No boxes shall be returned to the depot; they shall be left at the delivery address and chargeable to you, the customer.
Special requirements shall be followed, but please make sure that they are deemed 'reasonable' e.g. allowing ample space in freezers for the delivery boxes. Or instructions to knock at a neighbour’s house should mean it is within short walking distance of your property, and does not involve the courier travelling any further.
We shall attempt to contact you prior to the driver leaving a failed delivery, because we are keen to make sure that the service works for you, but we can't guarantee we shall be able to get hold of you.

Can I collect my pies?
Yes. Just click collection in the delivery options and your pies will be ready for collection from, The Farmers Boy Inn, Longhope, Gloucestershire, GL17 0LP.
When do you deliver?
We accept orders 7 days a week but orders are only dispatched Monday – Friday.Your delivery will remain chilled for 36 hours from leaving us at 4.30pm on the overnight service. Your boxes can be delivered to work, a shady, dry place, to a neighbour or to you in person if you are home.
What about local deliveries?
If you live in the surrounding area of Longhope, Gloucestershire please call – 01452 831300 to arrange local delivery for a cost of £5.00, this can be dispatched to you at a time that is convenient. (You must place this order over the phone).
When are normal order deadlines?
Although potentially we can deliver within 24hours, please place your orders at least 2 days before your required delivery date. We dispatch our pies Monday – Saturday at 9.00am and each dispatch contains the previous day’s orders. For example any orders placed from 9.00am Monday will be dispatched at 9.00am Tuesday. After the pies are dispatched they should arrive within 24 hours but this cannot be guaranteed.
Must I be home?
No. We use specially insulated chilled packaging which is guaranteed to keep your pies chilled for 36 hours, so plenty of time for you to return home if you know you will be out. On the order page there is a ‘Comments Box’ you can use this section to fill out specific delivery instructions as to where to leave your pies! And this will be passed onto the couriers. The couriers will not require a signature but should you want to sign for your parcel please statethis in the ‘Comments Box’.
Which areas are covered by national deliveries?
We deliver to England, Wales and Scotland with a few exceptions in the Scottish Highlands, Jersey, Guernsey and Ireland unless surcharges are paid - please call 01452 831300 for details.
Do you deliver outside UK?
We can delivery outside the UK but we do not recommend goods to be transported outside the UK as charges are very high. However we can quote and are happy to dispatch for customers willing to pay the transport costs.

No. You do not have to be home for deliveries. Simply leave instructions as to where to leave your parcel in the 'Additional Comments Box’ on the order page and these details will be passed on to the couriers. Will my package stay cold? Yes. We use specialist polystyrene packaging and ice block coolers to ensure that our pies stay frozen for 36 hours. All of our dispatched orders are always packed expecting you to be out andare guaranteed to arrive below recommended temperatures. We have tested and monitored our packaging with temperature measuring electrical probes to ensure that your pies stay frozen. We recommend that you are home to accept all frozen items that are delivered. Will my package be safe if left? We cannot take responsibility for the security of an order once it has been delivered and left by the couriers according to your instructions. Please make sure it's a spot hidden from view. If the weather forecast is unfavourable please ensure that the spot is undercover or leave a waterproof covering for the package to be placed under. If a sunny day then ideally the spot should be a dry, cool shaded area. Where will you leave my box? On the ordering page you will find a ‘Comments Box’ to leave any instructions for the couriers. If you are not in, we will firstly try to leave with a neighbour and then in a safe, dry place and leave a card. If you do not want us to leave your package without a signature please state this in the ‘Comments Box’ when ordering.
