Mad About Pies came about as a result of the hundreds of Bed & Breakfast customers, who kept asking me where they could buy our award winning pies and if they were available anywhere else throughout the UK. Due to this demand I decided it was time MAD ABOUT PIES went Nationwide. The rest is history

With your beef pie, you only get 100% British Beef. The beef is sourced in Gloucestershire by Ben Creese’s famous Family Butchers. No machines here, this means prime Chunk, hand-cut in every pie by our chef so only the best beef reaches your plate – you can really taste the difference. Chuck comes from the shoulder and neck of cattle as this is what yields some of the most flavoursome meat. Your pies are then cooked slowly for up to 8 hours, marinating in Stout & Ale along with a secret blend of herbs & spices and served in Puffed or crisp Shortcrust Pastry.
Your chicken pie is made using British farm assured Chickens with a mix of thigh and breast cuts. Two types of cut bring a depth of flavour in your pie that breast alone cannot achieve. A vastly shorter cooking time than the beef pies means your chicken pies are packed with succulent pieces of chicken.

Your Game Pies are sourced with meats from Ben Creese’s Famous Family Butchers. Again they are slow cooked, like the beef, to really let the flavours develop in the oven. This sees the whole process pulling through the flavours from a number of our secret recipes. What you will savour is an amazing sweet flavour to the pie with a hearty feel to the centrepiece of your meal.
